Removing tar marks

Just thought I'd share this little gem with ya.

Just washed my car for first time (Not had it a month yet) and I found that I had a few tar marks on the foor and lower side panels.

I think this was courtesy of a certain clients car park in Hemel Hempstead... grrrrr :x

Went to local Peugeot

and he recommended AutoGlym "Tar and Glue Remover". Went to local shop, think the

meant "Intensive Tar Remover" as thats the only one by Autoglym.

The stuff works a treat. Just put a little on a clean cloth and wipe on affected area. The tar mark will vanish with a couple of wipes. Then just rinse off...

I was well impressed. If you've got the same prob, I'd recommend getting some. You don't need much and the paint is now spotless again.

BTW, nope I am not on commission, am just glad this stuff worked as I was pretty furious at my client when I found the marks this morning. (They've been giving me a tough time all week, and this was the icing on the cake....)

You've answered a question I've been meaning to ask for ages - thanks! My silver cc (which I wash every week *smug look*) has also got a few tar marks on. Will rush to Halfords and buy some

i just use the normal autoglym car polish, soon gets rid of the tarmarks

When you use Intensive Tar Remover remember to wax that area after.
Tar Remover is very good stuff but it also takes the wax off
