have missed out a good bit of what has been happening as I haven't been online due to the buggered laptop that i STILL haven't got round to sending away to get repaired.

i'm happy to see the latest news is good again, keep in there lyndon, everyone is thinking of you at this time.

now the bad news is that i'm back on the scene again :P today i bought a new PC as i was planning to do for home use. laptop will be work only when i get it fixed. treated myself today to an hp pc with all the goodies that come with media center :) took a while to set it up with the 10 million cables but got there in the end so i'm back online.

just popping through to my mums now as i bought her and my dad a compaq pc today as well and she has absolutely no sense of computers and she has already phoned me about trying to get on a website which had me trying to stop myself screaming down the phone - wish me luck :D

This is my first posting on the Forum and I wanted to say I'm thinking of you Lyndon. My best wishes go out to your Mum. Thanks for your help these past few days and my apologies for buggin you.

Its so hard when someone you love is ill and you feel you can't do anything to help. But just being there for them, letting them know you love and cherish them is a strong medicine in istelf.

Having read through the postings it is obvious that you have a lot of caring friends here. I would like to add my name to that list.

Take care of yourself.

at 11.30am this morning me mother was back where she belonged, to quote a lad from work "fucking awesome" is the best way i can say to how we're all feeling :D :D :D :D

she'll still need a bit of work on getting her more mobile but she can walk, just steps/stairs that are a struggle but by god she'll get there :D
