Hi folks,

have been thinking about coming up a couple of
years on my 206 (its 2001) - have just
seen new allure edition with lama leather and
you can get it in china blue.

thought this looked really smart - any thoughts?

i heard a new model 206 is out in the spring.
Anybody heard anything re the 206cc?

The new 207cc will want to be pretty bloody special.

Call me naive, but personally I'm not sure how the styling could be improved on. The only thing I'd really like is for the roof clips to be automated like the 307cc.

I find the 307cc very bland aesthetically. I like the aggressive / cute look of the 206cc.

I used to have a '91 Honda CRX and I remember being very disappointed when the new ones came out.
Cheers,
Michael

I am looking to buy another car next year and have a few choices.
First is honda R type very fast, but not convertable and has very little as standard, not even air con.
Second choice is focus ST 170 not as fast as the R type but has air con and a few more toys as standard.
Third choice is hang on for the new 207cc but I think I would only buy if the car was better built and also had the 180 bhp engine fitted.

What do you guys think.

get the 307CC with the 180 engine and style it like the one in Performance GTi magazine - that's my plan :D

The 180bhp 307cc struggles to beat a 1.6 206cc due to its weight!

I don't think the 180 engine in the 307cc is powerfull enough. As Ed says it struggles to beat the 1.6cc. It may be an option if they ever put the V6 engine in.
I have also looked at the Megane but it's also seriously underpowered.

On a different note was reading the Auto express tonight and it shows the new focus with a CC coming out next year with a hard top, may be worth a look depending on the different options.
