I can belive that the Allures (of which I have one) shift quickly. My dealer said Pug only release a few - he mentioned 1500 - at a time. They allocate build slots for the "release" over a 3 months period.
Given that on an Allure you get metallic paint + leather interior (so close on £900 of extras I think) for only £100 more than the list price of the basic S / SE, it has to be a good deal.
Also, I think some previous Allures have included things like the front mesh sports grille [which mine did not]. May have to consider adding that soon!
HI,
WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THE SAME, A LOCAL DEALER IN BRISTOL HAS A RED 2.0 ALLURE AND SAID IT WAS THE ONLY NEW RED ONE LEFT IN THE COUNTRY!!
WE WE ALSO TOLD THAT THEY HAD STOPPED MAKING ALLURES NOW IN ANY COLOUR!!
HOPEFULLY (FINGERS CROSSED) MY PARTNER HAS LANDED HERSELF A BLACK 2.0 ALLURE WHICH HAD BEEN PREREGISTERED BUT ONLY DONE 500 MILES - AS IT WAS HE ONLY GARAGE THAT OFFERED A SENSIBLE PRICE FOR HER OLD CAR AND WAS ASKING 15K FOR THE NEW ONE.
WILL BE ON THE HUNT FOR ALL THE SHINEY BITS NOW AND BOY ARE THEY EXSPENSIVE!!!
