My brother, who works for a Peugeot dealership, contacted me this morning to let me know that his garage have a ex demo luggage rack which they are selling for £100 (not sure if this includes VAT). Apparently there is nothing wrong with it - the reason I am not buying it is that I don't really have a need for it.

If anyone is interested, please PM me and I will give you a contact name and the dealership's phone number.

William and I had a good day out today, down to Gosport to collect the luggage rack. It was a bit dirty but cleaned up well, now it as god as new and fits perfectly. Thanks Amanda, that’s one more thing ready for our holiday (only four months to wait).
Then down the M275 (didn’t see you Malcolm) to Portsmouth to the Historic Dockyard, it was a bit expensive to get in but worth it to see the Mary Rose alone, plus a look round HMS Warrior and a fascinating guided tour of HMS Victory (the tour guide was a Scot wished Derek was there to translate) then our afternoon was over. A return trip during the summer hols is in order I think.
Saw several CCs on the A3 going home (2 silver, one green and one blue) but they couldn’t have been any of you lot coz none of them waved back.

I didn’t catch it either.
I spent quite some time working in Scotland, but had to come home when I realised that Rab C Nesbit no longer had an accent!
That was a long time ago and I am out of practice with the language.
My wife is a Scot but I don’t listen to her anyway.
