Sub & Amp Detailed Information, If Possible

I am interested in buying the following

2 x 8" Subs - 250W RMS, 500W Peak Power Each Sub 8Ohms

Can someone tell me whether the Sub and Amp will work together and whether I will get my true 250W RMS on each sub, also which amp out of the two should I go for.

The first amp quotes 2x 450W Max whereas your speakers are 500W Max. There is no reference to how much RMS the amp produces, but it will be less than the speakers so you won't get the full 205W RMS out of them. However, it's always best to have an amp that can't overpower the speakers so they don't blow.

However, I would be concerned by the fact that the speakers & first amp are unnamed - could mean that they're not very good quality. I would go with the Vibe amp and look elsewhere for the subs.

You're looking at Â£80 + for a decent new 8" sub, so you may want to look for a single 10" or 12" instead.

Can someone point me to an exact make and model and a web link to an amplifier where I will get the full 250w RMS from each subwoofer as the looking is driving me crazy especially as I dont know what I'm really looking for.

The Vibe amp on your first e-mail would have been fine, but you would need to make sure you don't have the amp at full volume else it would blow your speakers (speakers at 250W RMS, amp at 300W RMS).
