Don't think it'll be that much faster than the 1.6 206cc as the car is really heavy and you'll barely notice the extra power.

The plate won't be sold cheaply on ebay. There are contingencies in place to prevent that and that does not mean interfering with the bidding before anyone suggests it.

Andrew,

The plate cost £499 and all CC ** PUG plates have all been sold by the DVLA so far since the 51 reg came out. The plate would look great on your new car and I'm not just saying that as the plate was bought to be the finishing touch to the 307CC project that I intended to create until I changed my mind for the 350Zr.

I have no doubt that the plate will sell for it's buying price or more over time but things are slow the now as there aren't too many 05 plate CC's on the road yet. For a quick sale I am prepared to make a small loss on the plate. Feel free to make me an offer via PM and we can negotiate if you are interested. If not no worries. :D

Never know about future value - P20 GCC increased greatly from what I paid for it.

New series plates start at £499 now, that's the cheapest price.

Yeah a whole 0.7 of a second quicker to 60 than the 1.6 and the 2 litre 206cc will easily pull away from the 180.

The 307cc is not built for speed it's a cruising car

If you are buying from a UK dealer then the wise choice was to get a 138 and buy options to make it the same as the 180 with the exception of the engine. If I remember right the total upgrade cost was about £1200 meaning you saved about £1400 by not having the engine.

Even the alloys could be upgraded for £100.
