Air Vent Direction Control

Or whatever you want to call it, hehe. The knob on the dashboard under the CD player where you choose where you air con/ventilation comes out of.

Ive not noticed before, but its very stiff to get into the cabin (rightmost) position. Sometimes it wont stay there and will only go into the next click down. If it will go into the cabin position, it makes a clunking noise when I move it back the other direction. This doesnt seem right to me, but before I take it to peugeot and make a clown of myself, does anyone know what this might be caused by? Im sure it was fine yesterday.

Dunno, when I got mine it was like that and could not direct air to the windscreen ... a trip to the dealer ..... they fixed it eventually after 10 attempts ..... but that was the dealer not knowing arse from elbow.
