Bass

All,

This is my first post. I just bought a 206 CC 2.0 SE today second hand (6 mnths old) with full SP kit, leather etc.

The problem....I like bass, I have 2k's worth of ice sat in my room that needs squeezing into the car.

Any suggestions (other than the obvious) as to where I can install a bass speaker or two? Is there room under the seats. Does installing one in the boot cause any problems with the roof when it is folded.

hi,

take a look at my pictures owner 001 or in the drayton manor meeting 2002 at the main site, it's the firedance one

when the roofs down you can just about get a coat in and a small bag

12" pioneer sub in a removable sub box, 5 channel kenwood amp (hi trung) and a 12 disc pioneer cd changer. Just changed the headunit to a pioneer DEH P8400MP (mp3 player), don't half rattled the boot lid tho

Does the roof rattle make the bass sound crap, or is it not too bad? Have you heard of people placing the bass speaker anywhere else

Nah i can only hear the boot lid rattle coz one of the locking latches is a bit loose otherwise there isn't mush rattle at all just bass

i had a crazy rattling license plate. Took it off, and put a lot of silicone behind it, screwed it back on. Rattling gone
