I know I know I know you are thinking TOW BAR?!?!?!

Well no, I am not one of those caravan towing, jack kniving, Q forming types but yes, I am a sailor!

I have just ordered a catamaran (only 16 ft) which can be trailored. It's a sexy bit of kit and hangin off a CC... ...well, da business me thinks!

Anyhoo, I need a hook. But... ...preferably one that can be hidden when not towing (cause I don't wanna be lookin like a caravaner without the cat on the back).

So, my Q is... ...anyone have any ideas if this is available for the CC and if so, how much?

Advice, hints, tips and maybe humorous abuse appreciated.

SeeJay

surely you would be better just buying another car to tow the boat.

there are loads of bangers in the local papers for a couple of hundred quid. About the same price as a tow bar.

Valid point Roberto valid point. But... ...I know of no other car that's as reliable, sexy and fast  as me ickle darlin' CC (especially for a couple hundred squid).

Anyhoo, surely with the roof down reversing with trailor has to be as easy as breakin da speed limit in a CC!?!

I think someone mentioned once mentioned on this forum that fitting the standard Peugeot detachable hook involved cutting away a slot below the rear bumper. It might be worth checking it out before the work is done.
