slight problem

hi guys just seeing if anyone can help me, in the boot of my cc- where the pull cord comes out ( the large piece of plastic protecting it) has fallen off and bent a little bit!

does anyone know if the roof will still be ok, or what i should do. any help would be appriciated

it may just be there to hide some of the workings for the roof, it shouldn't effect the operation in anyway, i of course could be completely worng
