Just bought a Blaupunkt Cd changer (6 disc) fits in glove box, wires all fit and eveything. The changer has power, appears to take discs and start playing them, HOWEVER it as if the Radio/CD unit does not know its there. If i press the 3cd button on the radio/cd unit it does nothing; as if it has been disabled.

Is this a case of taking it to the Peugeot garage for the monkees to electronically tell the radio/cd unit to recognise the changer? I don't particular want to take it in cause i) the charge and ii). when they connect her up they always balls something up.

Answers on a postcard to a grateful CC owner.

Long time no hear :)

Going by memory, I'm sure that Pug monkeys need to update the car or something to tell the ECU that the changer is fitted.

I may be wrong but it does sound familiar - sorry to break the bad news that a visit to useless monkeys may be in order :)
