Now that the warranty has run out on the cc, I have decided I can no longer put up with the long gearstick throw and I've splashed out 20 whole quid on a quikshift.
Will fit it ASAP and let you know how I get on with it. 8)

they're definitely worth having, transforms the car in my opinion :)

What is that quikshift? found through google a semi-automatic gearshift. That it?

it's an adjuster that you fit to the gear linkage to alter the length of throw when changing gears.

Cost £20 from Griffiths Engineering, it arrived quickly and looks top notch quality.
Will let you know how I get on with fitting it... :rolleyes:
