Am I the only person that cannot understand why the 206cc has 4 seats???? On the rare occasion when a friend sat in the back the front passenger had their knees imprinted into the glove box and their nose on the windscreen! When I bought the car a couple of months ago I had visions of me and my girls cruising in the summer, them getting carried away, standing up in the back, but in the true light, friends cannot move an inch because with one person in the back they have their legs tilted to the side and WEDGED underneath the other seat! lol.

The seats in the back are very small, but they are usable for short trips.
I fit in the back of a 206cc no problem, have been in the back on the odd occasion when my dads drove my car, Luckily im very short and have the drivers seat all the way forward, so on the odd occasion ive had to carry more than one passenger theres enough room in the back for a littlen
I class the backseats as emergency seats, but there mainly just used for shopping.

Handy in an emergency Kelly. If you had a Ford Ka convertible or a new Tigra you wouldn't even have the choice. Furthermore, for those with really young children a child's safety seat or two will fit in the back.
Have to admit though that we waited until our children had all grown up and got their own cars before I treated my wife to one last birthday.

Yep, I agree about dogs, perfect for 2 Shihtzu's! Although after my last trip with them, they are not going in there again for a long while. I went through a car wash, it spooked them and they released their bladders all over the seats! I've change my seats to leather since then so I'm holding back them going in there!
Also, as someone else just mentioned, great for children too. I have both my nieces in the back a lot and they love it!

I can fit my Zodiac inflatable boat on the back seats and the engine in the boot. I can fit enough stuff for a fortnight away on hols. How many convertibles can you say that about? How many fun driving cabrios can you think of that can carry so much holiday stuff. I know a few people with other makes/model cabrios, but when it comes to weekends away and stuff they have to revert to their second “practicalâ€

well, i have to say...i had the same idea as you! me and my girlie's cruising on hot summers days...... and that's just what we do
I have no problem at all getting 4 people in my car...and on the very rare (law breaking) occasion I have had 5 in.
Much better to have the option, I couldn't possibly live with a 2 seater.

I wouldn't imagine it's insurance reasons when it's Group 14 for the 2.0. The 350ZR is Group 19 and has 2 seats but has a 3.5 V6 engine.Isn't it for insurance reasons? I know it's not because of functionality.
