I have just bought an sp upper grill of ebay and it came with the fittings (4 small clips that i can only describe as large butterfly clips) but i have no idea how or where to start to fit them.
Has anyone attempted this or can tell me how i do it?
Sorry if this has already been covered, I have searched for it but couldn't find anything.

Hi Nic, I have just replaced my front lights which involved tearing away the front of my car! so should be able to help in some way.
Im not sure how to put your new grille in, but if it's a case of a swapover then seeing how the old grille comes out should give you an idea how to fit the new one.
Its probably best to use the old clips as they are easier to remove than some other clips ive been given for grilles and vents.
The four clips (on the car) are in two parts - inner and outer, almost like a chocolate button stuck on top of another.
To remove the existing grille slide a knife underneath the smaller choccy button and pull towards you so that it pops up. The clip will then come out easily.
I think there are another 6 points where the grille is connected but I might be thinking about removing parts of the bumper. If there is then it's a pain to pull the grille away, and just requires a bit of force.

Thanks for your suggestion, luckily i didn't need to get as far as removing that piece and perfect description of the buttons, i like it.
Anyway, i came accross a pic on ebay of the item fitted and it just clips over the existing black 1 that is there usng the fitting clips, they are quite long so that explains why. It did look complicated till i saw that.
If you want some, check ebay, the prices have been creeping up recently but i got mine for £21.
