having the same god dam problem with my 51 plate!
Having took it into Peugeot yet cos i cant be bothered with the rideculous price there so certain to charge.
Let me know if you manage to fix the prob... i'll prob give it another month or so before taking it into a garage to be looked at (im lazy like that)
Good luck!

Ok, I went for it. I have been having theses alarm problems too for about 3 months. I had tried the boot switch trick without luck. Luckily my dealer were prepared to try parts and only charge me for what was needed. (Phew)
First item tried was a control module, would have cost 1 hour labour and £30 for the part, total bill inc Vat £124
Didn't work.
Second item tried was a roof latch switch, I hadn't noticed (as you pull both catches and wait for the beep to open the roof) that the drivers switch was broken and I could have tried to open the roof while latched!
Total cost was 1 roof striker swtich £29 and 1/2 hour labour Total £108.
Didn't work with regards to the alarm, but paid bill and left it on as I didn't want to risk GF taking car and forgetting the latch and costing 10X more fixing the roof!
Third visit. The alarm ultra sonics were tested independantly and one found to be faulty.
Cost was 1 alarm sensor £20 and 1 hour labour, total cost £100.
Silence is golden.
Alarm is perfect again.
Doesn't seem to be an easy fix, you just have to let the dealer work through it piece by piece.

went to speak to Peugeot while my g/f was of looking for a 206cc to buy and was told that the Alarm sensor would cost £22.75. said it was a tricky job to do if im not completly with it when it comes to fixing cars etc. so i asked how much it would cost for them to fit them and he quoted 120 quid for the labour!!!
looks like i'll be putting that off for a while!
