I've had my quiksilver cc since feb 06 and its been back to the dealers last week due to a fellow driver pulling up to me at a set of lights and informing me that my rear passenger side light cluster is full up with water! I did notice a couple of months back a fair bit of condensation in the light unit but thought nothing of it! Took the car into Peugeot Kiln Lane Epsom last Monday and they said there is nothing wrong with the bodywork but have ordered in a replacement light unit just for precautionary measures, they fitted this new light unit on wednesday and ive just gone out and washed my car after a few days of heavy rain and noticed the condensation is back and a very slight line of water building up in the bottom of the replaced light unit!!! :( grrrr i'm soo angry it's going to have to go back AGAIN!!!!!
Anybody else had this problem??

Sounds like they didn't really order a new unit and just tried to fix your old one, which hasn't worked.

Took the car back into today and they took 1 hour of my time waiting for them to look over the replaced light unit again all for them to ask me to bring the car back on Monday 16th when they will fit new seals around the light!!! grrrrrr! why couldnt they have done this 1st time??!

To be fair if you are in at the dealer and you say you will wait, one hour isnt bad for a waiting appointment,

I know its frustrating waiting for a fault to be fixed ,especialy when its the same fault:no:

But the back lights on the 206 pugs are prone to let water in

At our garage we keep a few sets of dry ones on the radiator.:popping:

normaly it is because the lamp unit securing nut hasnt been tightned enough
