I bought my 206cc last year and up until now I haven't had any reason to remove the wheels.
I desperately need 2 new tyres (they are actually illegal and I didn't realise) before my first MOT is due in 2 weeks.
The locking nut is nowhere to be found in the car and I wasn't given it when I bought the car so I assumed it was in the boot with everything else like my old car.

First question is are there any hidden "hidey holes" in these cars that im missing, where they could be stored?

I have contacted the dealer and the service manager was very rude and abrupt saying I would have to buy new ones and they would have to remove and replace the current ones. I then contacted the Sales guy i bought it from and he says he agrees with me and will speak to his manager to try and help. His manager is now being unhelpful and im expected to pay £40 for new ones. Who is in the wrong and is there a Peugeot Customer Service I can complain to? I realise I probs should of asked the question when I bought it, but you just assume they give you everything you need. I feel they have me by the "nuts" cos i need the tyres and the MOT and they know it :censored:

Should be in the polystyrene box in the boot which also contains allen key for roof, tyre inflator repair aerosols and removal tool for shiny plastic wheel nut covers. If not there a previous owner could have hidden it away near the jack and jack handle right at the back (ie. towards the very rear of the car) in the boot compartment. There is a space if you look.

It's the sort of thing people overlook until they have a puncture or need new tyres. Never assume......

Nope emptied the jack bag the aerosol box stuck my hands down the holes in the boot not a thing. Even stuck my hand down the hole thats between the back seats. Tried contacting the previous owner but she wasnt in.
The manager practically called me a liar and that id lost it saying it will have been in the car. I think I would remember if Id been given a big chunk of metal when I bought the car. Taking the wheels off was not my priority when I bought it - taking the roof off was :D I said they are welcome to tip the car upside down if they think its in there.
Took 2 days of arguing but thankfully its sorted.
Eventually they had a rake around in the service bay and happened to find one that fits my nuts and said I could have it. They are no longer getting my business for doing the MOT or the Service. If I don't have to go back I won't. Pity cos I fancied a 207 when the time comes to replace it...

Well done Nickii,
I like the look of the 207cc too. Don't let your local dealer spoil your enjoyment. Shop elsewhere - through a broker if buying new, and save yourself money too.
Best Wishes,

Thanks lol
I took it for its MOT guess what it - failed. the horn wasn't working now it was when i bought it but they had the steering wheel off when they fitted the com 2000 so i reckon they've knocked something. So Peugeot have my car today so I can get a retest tomorrow.
I never use the horn, don't need to when I have a middle finger...;)
