Good day good people.

Just acquired my first CC :) It's a 2ltr 52 plate :)

Lovely car, good engine, good power.

Problem is I've got an ABS fault. I did have a pollution fault but starting it up with leads attached to another batt. sorted that problem, so I guess the battery is at fault. It also ran much smoother, so definitely in need of a good batt.

Whilst driving it back after picking the car up, I noticed the brakes made an awful noise. After closer inspection the front discs have a really bad lip on them, so I'll get them changed over asap. The pads are alright, but I'll do them just for good measure.

Would these probs cause the ABS fault?? I wouldn't have thought the computer would recognise the fault whilst the car was stationary?? Or could it have just logged the fault and in need of a reset??

Many thanks

Aaron

Oh nearly forgot...

My headlights flash on and off when they feel like it. They like to be on more than off. I think it's something to do with the stalk, maybe a dodgy conection?? Is this a common problem?? (it's not the auto lights by the way lol)
