We are selling my wife's 206CC Allure as we have recently moved house and find that we are not using this car as much as we should.

The car is a 1.6 litre model and was first registered to us in March 2005 on an 05 plate and it has covered just under 17,000 miles from new.

The Allure pack added metallic paint, stainless door sill trims, leather interior, aluminium sports gear knob and aluminium pedals. With this edition the initial roof problems of the marque were finally resolved and this is the revised production version, identified by the slightly raised roof strips running along each side of the roofline.

At time of purchase we also had Peugeot fit genuine 16" alloy wheels along with stainless grilles to the 2 bonnet vents and the 2 front nose grilles. These amendments certainly add to the car's style and the black paintwork, grey leather interior and stainless/alloy enhancements certainly set off the whole package.

The manufacturers warranty applies until March 2008 and at the time of purchase we also extended the Peugeot Assist breakdown service to cover the first 3 years of ownership.

We have had all servicing carried out by the supplying dealer and an additional oil and filter change was carried out, again by Peugeot ahead of the first service schedule.

This is a lovely looking car that is relatively cheap to insure compared to the 2.0 litre, achieves almost 40mpg and is totally secure with the roof up. Many a time we have been out for the day with the roof down to start with and then as the weather turns, as it invariably does, the solidity and ease of the folding roof really comes into its own.

By having the small rear seats we found that we could still carry our teenage son and one of his friends, albeit on shorter trips and the boot space is very large for a car of this size.

Each week the car has been washed and vacuumed and a coat of Autoglym regularly applied to protect the paintwork along with Autoglym treatments to the leather interior.

The car can be viewed through the following links:

For anyone looking for a 206cc this truly is a stunning example and an absolute bargain at only £8,800.

Please note that we are also advertising the car elsewhere but PM me should you require any further detail.
