Any ideas on what to put in to replace the rear spakers. I've replaced the door speakers with some Fusions which sound great, and due to limited space have a small alpine compact sub under the seat (which my lass loves when i turn up the volume - if u know what i mean :oP). However there is still some distortion from the rear when the sounds get bassy, can i replace these with a better quality or can i somehow cut a hole there and fit a nice set of 6x9's?:mfight:

trust me you will never fit 6*9s in.
Possibly in the rear panels if your good at that type of thing and dont mind choping your interior up.
I have some focal comps in running from an amp. they sound much better i'd recommend personally trying to get a set of components in i think the hole is 5.25" there is a sticky somewhere on the forum do a search for speaker size.
If you dont want a set of components even a little set of 2-3 way speakers would be better but your still gonna get slight distortion at high volumes because of the size of the speaker. (comps are the way forward
)
Whats your budget?

id say about 70-80 quid tops, just want a nice clear sound when turned up instead of the daft farty noise from the satndards. How come bose can make fantastic sounding speakers which are tiny but u cant get a decent sounding small speaker for ur car?! Guess thats what we get for buying a car that can only fit an umpar lumpar man in the back!
