Changing the tape player with a cd player.. help!

Help! I want to replace the standard tape player wth a cd player, i have a cd player P8N511691 which is a CLARION I think, however one of the plugs does not fit the sockets and im wondering what i need to do? I have been to Halfords but there doesn't seem to be a Peogeot adapter. It's driving me mad! Please help!
