The engine management ligth on my car is on but does not seem to affect the running of the car. I was told by one person that perhaps the lambda sensor needs cleaning. Does anyone think this is the case and if so where is it so I can have a go at cleaning it. Thanks

Could be I suppose. But could be many other things too.

the orange light dosent just mean a lambda fault, tis a general warning of about 400 possible engine faults, from low fuel pressure to phase detection.
common faults are lambda sensor and ignition misfire, but then these are not a given. need a plug in and a code read. :)
