Hi ppl, I'm new here :D, i have a standard 206 and my mum has a 206cc ...
she recently had a problem, like a few other users here, with the hydraulic struts in her boot, got stuck closed and was really heavy, one of them had collapsed and she couldn't budge her boot. That fixed now for about £60 from a local garage, fitted 2 new struts, that one sorted, but as ususal one problem leads to another, the car now thinks the boot lid is always open, and i got inside the other day (dont laugh) and asked her to close me in to check wether the light went off in the boot which it doesn't it's on all the time ...

what i'm getting at is ,where the hell is the sensor for the boot lid to say it's closed/open ... on my car i have a tilt sensor in the top half of the lid but i don't want to go pulling my mums car apart like mine lol, any ideas anyone ?

cheers,
Dan

hello.does the roof still work? if it does, then you have a problem with the boot catch.the boot open sesnor is intergral to it. :)
