Hi, I'm a newbie to this and I've just got a 2004 206cc 1.6. all is great except when I got it, the drivers window did not operate. After having the roof up & down a couple of times [as you do when you first get one], the drivers window started to work ok. Today, upon starting the car the drivers window went down and now will not come back up. Tried puting the roof down and back up, but to now avail.
I've checked and there is no electrical power being delivered to the drivers window motor when operating the interior window switch.
I've checked over this great website and there is lots of reference to microswitches. Where are they located?
Is it possible that the window problem is linked to the roof going up / down?
The passenger window is fine ...no problems.
In addition, I don't know if this is relavent but when the roof is being put down, there is no "beep" to tell you it has all been done ok...the motor keeps going...is that a problem. any help would ge great....thanks
