When raising or lowering the roof does anyone find that it makes a creaking noise? mine seems to be making an increasing amount of noise it's so bad that you can barely make out the noise of the electric motors.

Another noise to add to to the squeaky brakes

Yes mine does only when the boot rases and lowers but it has done this for ages and it still works, I don't want to take it back to the garage as they will properly make it worse!!!!

If it still works try to ignore it...

Cheers

Roof is still working. probably making the noises due to repeated raising and lowering in a short space of time eg showing friends when I first got the car.

When did you get your car then?

Does your noise only occur when the rear boot rases/lowers?

I got the car in April. It doen't make the noise when the boot opens or closes. The noise seems to die off after opening and closing a few times. It just seems really noisy sometimes.

Mine started creaking a couple of weeks ago. Back to being silent after a quick squirt of WD40 on the hinges.

Mine creaks and groans too but I thought I'd avoid putting WD-40 to shut it up because the more noise it makes the more heads that turn when we raise/lower the roof.

But I'm not a poser ;)

The only noise I get is from the hydraulics/electrics. The thing to look out for is "clunks" - always ensure the manual roof cord plastic "thingy" is seated in its little hole.

Just be grateful it raises and lowers in the first place!
