hi guys i need help please, i have a 206 2.0 hdi on sunday on a day out a warning "anti pollution fault" came up on the display also after a few hundred yards the top up coolant level comes up.
the car starts but is very limited and only runs for a few seconds before cutting out but if i turn it off before it cuts out then the engine runs on for a few seconds.
i know its probably a sensor but really need some advice before i take it to a dealer and get ripped off again.
cost me 300 quid to get towed from kidderminster to stoke on trent.

I'm sorry, I know little about diesels, so I can't help.
On the matter of towing I'd consider joining the RAC or AA or similar.

I have a peugeot 206 cc 1.6 xdi.. a few days ago when i start my engine it comes up anti pollution fault and also a orange symbol, which looks like the cooling level.. today it cut out whilst i was driving. i turned the engine off and back on and it was fine, i went on this website earlier and someone told me to turn the key once to put it into AAC mode for 10 mins then turn the engine on and it will be fine, but it still comes up, any help??
