roof locked toe out

hi people, my name is allan, i have a friend who had a bump in his 2001 yplate 206cc, he repaired the front end damage and now for sme reason the roof wont work, he gets all the right beeps and noises, but when he presses the roof button nothing happens the windows dont even go down, i do know that one of the catches on the a pillar is broken so is permanently unlatched, he has had it on a diagnostic machine and everything in the live test is showing up as working as it should but comes up with an error code saying roof locked toe (or tow not sure lol) out

any sugestions???

I suggest your friend takes it to a Peugeot specialist and they'll check it out. Probably a sensor, but the catch will need repairing and could be causing the fault. I'd always cure what I KNOW to be wrong first.

thanks for the reply, i think its the way to go, he just thought he would try and keep the cost down by trying to sort it him self
