Thanks for your great 206CC info, I'm Canadian, and my Peruvian wife and me bought a 2003 206cc "used" imported from Japan, the steering wheel was changed to L/H steering. In Canada they do not sell Peugeots, and in Peru they do not sell CC's, all Peugeots come from Argentina.
I do not have an owners manual either, so its difficult to figure things out. The car is great, except, I have a serious roof problem and hope some one can advise !
When I open the roof, the trunck panel does not open fully about half or less, than the roof panel is pushing hard against the inside of the trunck panel trying to go in to the trunck, it causes at the L/H and R/H sides, scraping paint damaged to the roof panel, however, the closing cycle works as advertised, trunck panel opens fully! Why would the trunck panel not open fully ? If I try to assist by hand to pull the trunk panel more open, their is no way Jose, just seems stuck at that half way position. Please all advise would be tremmendious help full. Thanks a million. Canuck/mixture Latino!
Robby.

Hi Ron and all . first of all Merry christmas and a Happy New Year from Lima Peru, your manual was a gift from heaven!! Regarding my roof scraping problem, the r/h trunk/boot actuator was not working correctly, I knew it was not the actuator because it is in series with the r/h actuator. Finally found the ECU electronic control unit at fault, I guess was damaged when the steering was changed from r/h to l/h position. I thought screw this and bypass the box, installed a second switch which operates the solenoid on the hydraulic unit, works perfect , but you have to be in sequence and all safety futures are gone!! Learned a lot about the roof operations!! Happy new Year to all!! Robby.

Thanks for the feed back Robby, and the seasonal greetings which are reciprocated. Well done, you now know more abou the roof than the majority of us on this forum I think. I only know how to put it up and down using the switch! I wouldn't even know how to start bypassing the ECU. Ron
