Hi all, was due to buy a freinds Quicksilver 206 cc in two weeks time (was very excited). She clipped a post on the way to work last week, both the dashboard and steering wheel airbag went off. With the bodywork damage as well (very little) they have written the car off. They are saying the car needs a whole new dash because the airbags gone off, Is this true? Is the cc dash the same as a standard 206 dash? as i am seriously considering getting her to buy it off the insurance company on my behalf.

Does anyone know how to remove the passenger airbag?
I have successfully removed driver airbag - 2 No. Torx screws in back of steering wheel and unplug.
But the passenger airbag appears to be holding strong. I have removed 4 No. screws from behind the dash (1 in each 'corner' of the airbag trim) but think there must be a fixing against the dash support bar?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
