My Automatic 206 is having problems starting!

Hi There

You will have to forgive me but i am new at using formums.

I have a 1999 206 1.4 automatic and i only got it Saturday, Ive been driving around in it with no problems until today.

I went to get in my car to come back home but when i turned the key it did not start up. it made the noise as though it was going to start but then didnt fire into life. I then tried a second time and it started normally.

Its not a problem with the starter or alternator because it still makes the noise when it tries to start.

can someone help please????

Two goes on the starter to start the car isn't the end of the world. Especially if the engine is between hot and cold.

What was particularly different about this occasion and what procedure did you follow, in detail?
