Space saver size?

Post by roketron »

Hi guys and gals, roketron newbie here with my first post. I was surprised that there is no spare wheel at all with the car, and have been looking for a space saver to carry around in case of a puncture that cannot be repaired by the aerosol kit. Can some one advise me on the size of a space saver to match the 205/45 vr16 alloy on my 55plate Allure, many thanks, Ron.

The space saver for the 206/206cc is a 115/70/15 http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trks ... Categories I bought one from Ebay last year for £10 plus £15 p&p, and it was like new, still had the bobbles on the tyres. I do have 15inch wheels but as the space saver is only intended to get you home or to a garage I presume one size is intended to fit all.

There may be space savers for other car makes that will do, I think the new mini ones are compatible. You just need to make sure that the 4 centre holes are in the same position.
