Hey folks, just wondering if any of you out there with some electrical knowledge can help me sort this out...
According to the manual (I'm pretty sure anyway) the car will enter Economy Mode after the ignition has been left on for half an hour.
So why is mine going into Economy Mode after only 10 minutes? The battery is only 18 months old, the car drives long distances very frequently (ie >100kms a day) and I very rarely have the ignition on without the engine also on. Both battery terminals are clean and securely in place - I'm stumped!

heya
depending on the age of your car. a bsi software update will resolve this problem.on some of the bsi the ecomode time can bechanged from between 5 mins to half a hr.
if this dosent work it would suggest to me that you have a current draw ie stereo not shutting off or boot light staying on.
hope this helps

Thanks heaps for the suggestions reap! The car is the post-facelift 04 model - I'll check glovebox and boot light. Cheers again!
