Hi everyone,

I am hoping you can help, I just recently got a 206cc and today a warning light/beep came on. The light and noise doesnt happen all the time and doesnt stay on but I have never come across it or heard anyone mention it before so was hoping someone here would no the answer.

The light comes up on the display where the clock/temp etc are and is in the shape of a car. Pretty much exactly the same as the 'door open' warning however on this one it is just a whole car shape with no open doors (if that makes sense).

Any help or suggestions would be gratefully recevied as it really is annoying me.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Sounds to me like either the boot or the bonnet isn't closed properly, that would explain the warning beep and no doors showing on the car shape. Usually the part of the car that is open is shaded.

Thanks for your reply, like I say it really is appreciated! Yes I thought that may be the case too but I have closed, closed and closed the boot/bonnet over and over again lol I must be doing something wrong.

I checked them all again last night so hopefully I wont have any problems today, will keep you posted.

If it happens again...fingers crossed it doesn't though...check to see what the picture looks like. Take a snap with your mobile if you have one and upload it. It could be a sensor that is playing up, see this previous post http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11968
