Help needed plz neebie

Hi guys,

New to the 206cc lovely little drive but I've hotly a big problem.

I have a 51 plate 206cc and was driving the car today with the roof down as you do go home parked up and tried to put the roof up and it won't go up now. Went to the boot to see what the problem was and the boot won't lock and I didn't realise that I had been driving with it unlocked. The problem which I think it is, is that I can get the boot to lock with the key there for the roof won't come up. Also if I turn the key left and right it makes all the right noises but just won't lock!

Sorry it's a bit long winded but I'm worried that it's now half 10 the roof is still down on the car and it looks like it might rain

I hope you managed to sort this out Sean. The boot doesn't need to be "locked" for the roof to operate. Do you mean it's not closing properly? Are you getting any warning beeps when attempting to close the roof?

Luckly I didn't rain last night but I also never got the problem sorted. When I attempt to get the roof down it does make a beeping noise and won't start to raise the roof.

I also never knew about the boot not needed to be locked but I still can't manage to lock it. It would just sit correct when down but there is about a 4mm gap around the seal.
