Priced about right - should be just a bit below £4,000 i.m.o.

How many miles has it done?

At that mileage your price looks spot on, certainly priced to sell. Presumably you are advertising on Autotrader. The car will soon be due a new timing belt which won't be cheap for any new owner, unless you've already had it done. If it has had a new timing belt I'd mention the fact in your ad. If it hasn't then I wouldn't raise the issue, but be ready to answer the question from a prospective buyer. They will want to allow about £400 to get the job done soon after they acquire the car.

If you have advertised at below £3500 on Autotrader I am a little surprised you've had no interest whatsoever. It could be that most people are looking more for 1.6 engined models which are cheaper to tax and insure.

Of course , if you don't sell it this month then you'll have missed the season for convertibles for 2011 and the value will drop significantly from September onwards.

What Car's valuation service gives the following values for your car:

Peugeot 206 Coupé Cabriolet 2.0 16V Allure 2dr 2004 (54) 37,000 miles
Dealer £4,530
Private £4,275
Part exchange £4,010
Trade £3,795

Good luck, Ron
