New to this site but need help with something

Post by Urbanangelaine »

Hi everyone, I have only bought my Peugeot 206 CC in November and love it. I live just outside Edinburgh!

However, I am trying to mend a couple of things on it and nurture it as I don't think it was as looked after as it should have been with it's previous owner!

Trying to locate or buy number plate light covers - one has been broken off (I found it in the pocket of the driver's door) and the other is hanging by a tack. I think they may be awkward to remove when changing bulbs.

Where can I get some new ones. The ones I have located from breakers yards are sooooooo expensive!

Can anyone help at all? :big-grin:

I wouldn't have thought they were that dear from a Peugeot main dealer.
They do get brittle with age, so I wouldn't buy a used one. I think it comes as a complete unit rather than just the lens.
Cheers Col.

Yip you are right! I phoned Peugeot yesterday and it was just over £9 incl vat per unit!

I automatically just started looking at breakers yards as I thought Peugeot would be so expensive but how wrong could I be.

Thanks anyway for answering and at least I have found this site for help or just for general chat in the meantime.
