Help for a female please!

Post by ClaireBear02 »

Hi all!

I get my new cc next week and i have to admit i am nothing short of useless when it comes to cars.My brothers always did everything for me at home and for the last 12 years my hubby has taken over their role

I have been reading the forum and scared myself reading the problems sub forum!!!!
I have decided i really need to start and take more notice in what to do with the car SO that being said where do i start? what do i absolutely need to know about the car/what to be able to do myself etc....lease be gentle with me!
The manual roof folding has scared the crap out of me for one :D

Most roof problems can be avoided by following the correct procedure. Good tip as to opening/ closing roof, is to complete the operation in one go, without pausing, or without touching any other controls in the car until you hear the *bong* that tells you the operation is complete. I would do it with the engine running so you have plenty of power from the charging system to help matters, but don't start or stop engine half way through.
Just to show my faith, we had the roof down today as it was so nice out :big-grin:
Cheers Col.
