Hi Princesspuffykins

Wow - what a great boyfriend you have!!! My husband bought me fish and chips last week which seems rather small in comparison! :rotfl:

So glad you like your new car, all you need now is a bit of sunshine 8)
Now: Audi TT Mk1 1.8T quattro (225)
Then: Peugeot 206cc 2.0 (Black/Silver special edition)

Welcome to the forum. Which spec 206cc do you have? 1.6 or 2.0, manual or auto, year and mileage?

Hi
It is a 1.6 allure auto 04 plate with 60,000 on the clock ( i have a back problem so no clutches anymore ), black with black and red leather interior, much more fun to drive than my Rover 75......( don't tell my rover i said so ). I will annoy everyone by saying i name all my cars and im afraid i have named it Zippy !!! sad i know, but hey my range rover was called Randy after andy my partner and it being a range rover, my rover 75 is called naughty ( after me ) and my ford ka was called Bunny, the list of cars i have named is endless. My boyfriend thinks i am mad naming them and they are NOT male and female as i think ,as they are CARS !!! not human beings...well its my car and I LOVE it.....
I think the reason my boyfriend bought me the 206 was, because i let him choose our last car and he choose the rover 75 full leather, and yes it is comfortable to drive but as my children pointed out I am not an OAP.....and i should have a car that represents my personality.....so 206cc it is. I have read the owners guide inside out so i can aquaint myself with what does what and so i dont break anything !!!

Good for you. I hope that Zippy proves to be a good car and that he keeps you happy for a long, long time.

I'm glad you've had the good sense to read the owners manual thoroughly - that's a good start.

When i bought zippy they gave me only one key and no security card, they are trying to see if the previous owner has them ?? Is it very expensive to get a replacement key, and would it only be a Peugeot dealer that i can get one from ? any advice would be lovely Thanks :)

Oh they will, they'll probably want your soul too!!
I think it's about £20 to get your security number then something like £80 for the new key and finally 30 mins labour to code the key to your cars BSi

It might pay you to travel in that case. Give Danny at cardiac a call for a quote. I know he travels a bit but he is Reading based.
Sorry. I don't know of anyone nearer your way.
Cheers Col.
