HELP - roof latches wont reset after manual life

Hi all , ive had my 206cc for just opver a year now and have never had a problem with the roof. We moved house and the insurance went through the roof so its not been used for around 4 weeks, its been moved from one spot of the garden to the other ect and started from time to time. Any way , i decided to put the roof down to give it a good clean and wouldnt go up again , went through the manual life via utube video, it now constantly bees when i try to put the roof down again . it now constantly beeps .The 2 white clips will not lock together , ive also read the post on getting the clips to lock together again and still wont work.Can anyone help.....

Hello , My problem is now solved and my roof is fully functional again .... not 100% sure what my husband did , i know is was something to do with the hydrilics to get the latches back in place... soo pleased it has also has just passed its mot !!! x
