constant beeping when pressing roof button..........

Post by Bashy206 »

Hi there, I am new registered to this site tonight. Please could you help? I have watched the video but cannot locate all micro switches, is there a diagram that could help? knowing which is A or J ETC.... Dont understand when reading post's which is been talked about. I have the same problem as a few others, my windows or roof won;t go down I just get a continuos beaping sound. It all worked fine untill I changed the clutchhen cleaned all around boot and boot lifting lid, wondering if I knocked a switch or by doing clutch disconnecting electrics. However roof did go back up after cleaning before doing clutch. lso had passenger seat out but broke airbag connector underneath, so I connected wires straight together using a block, now air bag warning light has gone of so I;m guessing connection is fine. I hope you can make sense of my messageHelp would be much appretiated. Thanks Dan....

Thanks very much it makes alot more sense now. I also forgot to ad that when closed, boot lid raises an inch then goes back down again while continuos beeping in progress an that is all I can get to happen. Is it worth manually winding down then back up again?
