We don't sit at our computers all day, and so it may take time to get a response. We are all volunteers giving freely of our time.
Did the lights get left on again last night? How old is the battery?
I don't know how the wiring to the warning buzzer works but it sounds as if you may have a broken wire where the wiring passes through to the driver's door. I doubt that it will be a fuse if the warning buzzer is working when the passenger door is opened.
It is not long ago that cars did not have such refinements. People then had to remember to switch off their lights.
