Last 'click' on electronic closure

Post by dwadeson »

Hi,

My roof is opening and closing electronically all fine until the very last step on closing......the roof doesn't seem to do that last 'click' before the motor stops. At the moment the motor keeps running until I release the button, I get the warning bleeps telling me it's not happy, I have to get out and push gently down on the boot lid bit where it joins the bottom of the rear window (top left) , I hear the click, then I know it's complete.

Any ideas what this might be?

Many Thanks. :)

I think that might be a slightly stretched cable in the mechanism, and a small adjustment will pull it so that it latches at the correct time.

Hi I am a newbie who has the last click issue with the electric roof of my 206cc. Someone has mentioned a stretched cable but does not mention how to adjust it. How is this done. The roof goes up and down except I have to push gently on the boot lid to make it go up and down
Kind regards Littleowl.
