Hi mates, I'm driving a 2002 plate auto 1.6 cc,
suddnely I have a problem with the roof, when opening the hooks there is no boing that says "ok now u can open the roof"
as im trying to press the open button it wont do anything because it didn't recieve info about the hooks open.
after opening and closing the hooks for many times it works for a time or two but then again the hook open recognition fails, which part of the hooks is responsible for this problem? is there any sensor around the hooks?
thanks

There are two microswitches in the screen surrond where the latches are. Might be sticking.
Try a search or two because this is fairly common.

Hi and welcome.
There are 2 microswitches, 1 on each windscreen pillar. A search of this forum will throw up loads of info
