Hi all
I hope you can help. I have replaced the axle on my 206cc as the drivers side wheel was leaning in. I was told it had basically started to collapse.
I purchased a refurbished one from IM Axles at a cost of £240 (in delivery).
Now from what I have been told the axle is held in place by 4 bolts.
After replacing it, when I look at the back of the car the drivers wheel is sitting about an 1/2 inch further in and the passenger side is 1/2 inch out. At first though it was the wheels so changed them, but it is still sitting the same.
I thought it may also be tracking but been told the 206cc rear is fixed and can't be changed. The front wheels were 1 degree off.
There is no banging or clanging when you drive, but could the replacement axle be faulty?
Will try to upload a pic asap
