MFD and Climate Control Lighting

Post by gpktm »

Hello everyone

I have a problem with my MFD and the Climate Control lights. I thought was some bulb problem but, nope. I replaced the bulbs of the MFD the new ones don't come in to life either. Any ideas what should I check next?

Both MFD and Climate Control working properly but the bulbs in the MFD don't light up and in the climate control although the display is working fine there is no light in the buttons.

On the MFD, check that the pins that connect the two circuit boards together haven't come loose. The solder dies over time and they come off the circuit board. A small, quick dab of a soldering iron usually works.

OK, I will have a look tomorrow and I will report back.

When you say circuit board you mean this one?

No, two main boards (green in colour) ... that looks like the bulb connection strip.

Sorry for the big delay but I was away overseas for a while.

So... two main boards. Is it possible to send me a photo please?
