Roof Troubles
Hi, I wondered if anyone can help, I have just got a 206cc and the roof doesn't work, although we did manage to put it down and up again manually. It also makes a musical tune whilst driving, the boot won't unlock on the central locking and the rear heated window doesn't work. Could all of this be caused by one sensor, say the boot lock sensor or the boot open sensor? And if so where are they located. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Re: Roof Troubles
Hi & welcome.
Firstly the boot only locks with central locking. You have to open it manually.
Secondly, can you give a blow-by-blow account of what you are doing and what happens, ie "I open the roof clamps and I get a bong" etc:

Re: Roof Troubles
Hi thank you for your help, it was the drivers side micro switch that was sticky, we removed it and soaked it in wd40, and now the micro switch works. The noise while driving was the White hinge clips that had been left in manual mode, so that's now sorted along with the heated rear window.
So now when I unclip the to clips at the front I get a bong, then when I lift the button for the roof the windows now come down, then you hear the motor running and you hear the front of the boot lid up cick, but then nothing else happens but you can hear the motor running and the boot doset raise to 90 degrees.
Do you have any ideas what this could be?

Re: Roof Troubles
Try nipping up the pump "depressurisation" valve, and make sure hydraulic oil level is OK.

Re: Roof Troubles
Hi,
Thanks for your reply's, over Christmas we had a good look over it all and I checked the depressurisation valve and that was tight and we also checked both the relays by the pump and they were ok, so we have now plugged it into Peugeot planet and after clearing the codes the only one that comes back is
"sun roof, permanent fault. Time for left and right locked boot loss of contact"
What does this mean in English ????

Re: Roof Troubles
If the pump is working correctly and the bottlid is raising fast enough, the at the left front side of the boot (near where the pull cord should be) check those microswithes
