Problems with new fan
Just fitted a new fan to my wee 206cc 2000 plate but it doesn't come on I have been told it could be the fuses or relays. Does anybody know where they are positioned on this model as no diagrams on fuse box covers. How do you tell when its the relay that needs replaced ? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Fuses are listed in the owners manual. If you haven't got one, you can download if from our forum.

Oh great thanks. The old fan stopped working wouldn't turn manually. After I took it off it had crack and was badly corroded. I love the car but had nothing but bother since I got it. It was due MOT last month needed full exhaust system, brakes and tyres then failed as a crack in the back axel. Back axel was replaced passed the mot but then started overheating due to broken fan. I thought that replacing a fan would be easy enough and it was but still not working. Checked the new fan straight from battery and it works so it's not the fan. I think I'll need to visit a garage.

If the old fan seized up it probably blew the fuse.
