Instrument Cluster Light Bulbs
Hi, I would just like to begin by thanking everyone on the forum for the help they have given me so far. I am working my way through a few minor bits n bats that need doing on the car and this is the last one to sort. I am wanting to replace some light bulbs on the clocks. I know how to get the cluster out but are these bulbs clip in ones or are they soldered directly onto the board. Which bulbs do I need to replace them. Also, on the little display that displays the total mileage of the car, this is just blank, no digits or anything on this little screen. I have been told that this is again just a bulb behind the lcd screen that needs replacement. Any tips on how to do this would be great or any advice in general. Many thanks.

Re: Instrument Cluster Light Bulbs
The bulb behind the lcd screen is the small 5mm capless type. I should think most of the dash is lit by this type so get a bag of them from ebay / internet as the local auto parts stores tend to charge 0.75 - 1.00 each.

If you are referring to the speedo clocks they have surface mount LED's rather than bulbs and you have to pull off all 5 of the needles to get to them, which is not easy to do without breaking them
