Hi Guys
Can anyone help me with a problem I am having. The interior light in the boot does not work. Initially I thought it was just the bulb so swapped it over... still no light. I checked the housing and terminals and all are ok. I connected the bulb directly to the terminals and the bulb didn't light so there is no power getting to the plug. I have checked the wires as far as I can and are all in great shape. Any ideas anyone?

I would start with the fuse or switch.

There is no striker plate, its turned on by a level switch in the bootlid.
You'll need to remove the black panel to get access to it.

Hi Slo, thanks for that. Once I remove the back panel on the inside of the boot lid, what am I looking for. Where abouts is the switch located please?

Its next to the third brake light, its kind of hidden. Its actually a level sensor with a ball bearing in it and has 1 spade terminal.
Cant find a picture of it anyway for some reason or any reference to the bugger.
